Discovery Talks: Bubbles, Butterflies, Beetles and the Optics of Fruit

Physicist Rox Middleton from the department of Biological Sciences at University of Bristol will talk about light and the surprising way nature uses it to create spectacular colours without using colourful pigments. Rox will be talking about ongoing work to understand tiny structures that change the way we think about colour and materials.
